About Marty Richards Private Practice Resources

Marty Richards has her BA in sociology with an emphasis on social welfare from Augustana College in Illinois (1967) and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Washington School of Social Work (1970). She is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers of the National Association of Social Workers and is a licensed independent clinical social worker in Port Townsend, WA.

Marty uses a variety of supportive techniques to assist aging adults and their families including family therapy, individual counseling, care management and resource finding. She works from a strengths based counseling perspective. The course of assistance offered will depend on the individual and family needs for assistance and support.

Marty sees persons in her office in downtown Port Townsend and will do home visits within Jefferson County WA. Marty does not accept third party reimbursement; however, a sliding fee scale is available for those who are unable to pay the basic rate.
